83 yo with massive hematemesis and hypotension underwent CTA.

The second portion of the duodenum is notable for a subtle serpiginous hyperdensity grossly equivalent to the arterial vasculature.

5mm caudal to the axial image above the hyperdensity in the duodenum has blossomed into a dense focus of arterial extravasation.

Here some active extravasation can be seen layering throughout the third portion of the duodenum
